Question: When I drag a piece of furniture into the room, a certain 'slur' is drawn after the furniture?
Answer: You need to reduce the acceleration on the video card. In the Furnish® program you select 'Edit' and 'Settings' (you will be prompted for a password, but just click OK). At the bottom right corner – and under '3D settings' remove the selection. Please note, if you are a Windows 2000 user, you can ONLY change the acceleration in the Furnish® program. If you change it elsewhere, it may influence other settings on your computer. |

Question: I downloaded and installed the program, but still I can't open it?
Answer: This can be caused by different things:
1. The screen solution is incorrect. It has to be min. 1024x768 pixels.
2. The number of colours available must be min. 16 bit.
3. The acceleration on the video card needs reducing. The above settings can be changed. At the bottom left corner select the 'Start' button, 'Setting's, 'Control Panel', 'Screen' and the tag 'Settings' (the settings for the video card is placed under the button 'Advanced'). |

Questions regarding the program |
|
Basics Furnish® is a Windows based program, meaning that many functions such as copy, insert, delete, undo, double-click, etc. act just like in any other Windows based program. When you wish to move an object, mark it by clicking on it with the mouse, and move it with the arrow keys.
The furniture parts 'snap together'/fit together, when a large arrow appears on the screen. If the arrow does not appear, it means that the pieces cannot be built together. |

Question: I built a sofa, but turned it the wrong way. Is there an easy way to turn it?
Answer: Yes, if you are in the 3D view and know how many degrees it needs to be turned, you can mark the sofa, press 'Ctrl + R' and then type in the degrees. Alternatively, you can select top view, mark the sofa and turn it by pressing the 'Ctrl' + arrow keys. If you wish to turn it only a little, you have to hold down both the 'Shift' AND the 'Ctrl' keys. |

Question: I think it can be difficult to see, where the legs are placed under the sofa…?

Right after you have added a leg, and it is still marked, you can adjust it with the arrow keys (don't forget to hold down both the 'Shift' AND the 'Ctrl' keys if you wish to move it only a little). |
